The Hayagriva Madhava Temple, located on the Monikut hill near Hajo in Assam, India, holds ancient roots dating back to the 11th century CE.

Built by King Raghudeva Narayan in 1583, this stone temple enshrines Hayagriva Madhava, a form of Vishnu.

The temple's unique features include a continuous row of elephant carvings and relief figures depicting Vishnu's incarnations, devotees, and scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
